Requirements for Church or Ministry Credentials:
Believing that it is of value for individuals, churches and ministries to be part of something bigger than themselves for fellowship, accountability and mutual growth, and, recognizing that some Churches and/or ministries want to connect the organization officially with Global Apostolic Alliance, we set forth these items to be the basis of that relationship.
– Each individual, church or ministry is totally autonomous and is responsible for the legal and spiritual governance of their respective organizations.
– If the church or ministry desires to be in official relationship/membership with Global Apostolic Alliance, we have the expectation that they:
– Embrace the vision, values and other statements set out in the documents of
Global Apostolic Alliance
– Demonstrate their connection with Global Apostolic Alliance by being actively involved in
Global Apostolic Alliance events.
– Financially support the Global Apostolic Alliance by:
a. Churches – .5% of general income with minimum of $50 per month
b. Ministries – .5% of ministry income with minimum of $25 per month
c. We encourage churches and ministries (as we do individuals) to consider greater
levels of support as the Lord leads.
– Churches and Ministries that are in official relationship with Global Apostolic Alliance may, by invitation, draw upon the following services of Global Apostolic Alliance provided by the Leadership or their appointees.
– Consultation with an individual or board to give advice, counsel and help in any way deemed
necessary by the church or ministry.
– Assistance in resolving conflicts or problems in the church or ministry that cannot be resolved
by that organization’s leadership.
– Ministry at or with the church or ministry, including such things as preaching, teaching, training
or involvement in missions or other ministry related programs, locally, interstate or abroad.
– Assist in the search for a new pastor of a church or leader of a ministry.
– Be available to provide resource material for churches and ministries as needed
(e.g. pattern By-Laws, etc)
– In return, churches and ministries that are in an official relationship with Global Apostolic Alliance are expected to:
– Make this relationship known to their congregation members
– Include in appropriate materials (signs, bulletins, websites and other advertising) the following: “This organization is affiliated with Global Apostolic Alliance, an International Apostolic Alliance of ministers, ministries and churches.” Artwork can be provided upon request.
– Publicize and encourage participation among your members/congregation/associates in Global Apostolic Alliance events.
– Support the ministry and life of Global Apostolic Alliance in a practical way wherever possible.
– Global Apostolic Alliance reserves the right to initiate consultations with the leader or leadership team of a church or ministry to address issues it deems to be of a serious nature should the need arise Global Apostolic Alliance also reserves the right to withdraw membership from an organization as deemed necessary when all Scriptural attempts at reconciliation and restoration have failed.
